Unarmed security professionals are required for safeguarding property and establishments. They are also prepared to respond in case of emergencies, accidents, robberies and other incidents. They must understand the operations of their establishment and carry out their duties accordingly. They also may be required to aid and escort individuals visiting said establishments, prevent trespassing, uphold security guidelines, and carry out other tasks under their role.
